There is good cooperation with other institutions in welfare services such as Landsp\u00edtala, health care, child protection committees, Children&#8217;s Protection Agency, S\u00c1\u00c1, Tryggingastofnun, Labor and Employment Agency, Hla\u00f0ger\u00f0arkot, Prisons&#8217; Mental Health Team and Prison Affairs Agency. In addition, Verndar&#8217;s relations with rural associations, committees and their welfare departments are in most cases very good, but the rural associations are now 69.<\/p><p>Staying in the half-way house is a step into life after having been incarcerated or as part of serving a sentence.\u00a0 The focus is very much on being free from addictions, working closely with AA association.\u00a0\u00a0 It is a temporary home, building on peer and professional support.\u00a0 All residents take active part in common dinners and house work.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c26e985 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c26e985\"
