Family visits (article)

Overview:

Üpholding the right to connect with the family is more than just about allowing the act of visits to occur. There are many elements that must be considered – for example, material conditions for visits, and consideration for detainees with particular needs or in a situation of vulnerability. The article is focussing especially on the rights of the prisoners´ minorities such as women, members oft he LGBTQIA-community, children, indiginous people and other ethnic minorities, disabled people and foreigneirs.
