Περίληψη
The Resettlement Service can provide help with planning for life after prison, accessing health services and emergency accommodation, and applying for housing, medical cards and social welfare benefits. Prisoners need to have less than 18 months left on their sentence and need to be referred to the service by someone from the prison, such as the Governor, Chief Officer, Chaplain, etc.
The resettlement service is part of the IASIO services for prisoners in Ireland. These services can only be accessed through referral from a probation officer for community service supervisor. Other services like career counselling, family liaison support, finding training and employment, empowerment writing CV and cover letter etc.

- Medical Card applications
- Social Welfare benefits
- Access to services after release e.g. mental health, addiction supports
- Liaise with authorities and manage applications on behalf of the prisoner
